The starting point for VEX 123. The robot arrives assembled, so a four-year-old spends the session giving instructions rather than building a chassis.
First programs are entered by pressing the buttons on the robot itself. Coder cards then turn a program into a physical row of tiles the child lays out by hand, and the same robot later accepts block coding on a tablet — so the whole early-years progression happens without ever changing platform.
